Monday arrived and the head burning sun of Saturday and Sunday didn't arrive it poured down instead, still we enjoyed ourselves it just meant the "street party" became a marquee one which went down very well. Quite a few people stayed inculing ourselves for a last night before travelling on and those who wished to went down the pub for an evening meal etc.
Tuesday came we packed up the cars and set off home, car was a dream never lost a drop of water, stopped off in Buxton at the Pavillion Gardens for a couple of hours before completing journey.
All in All it was a great rally well attended.
Sunday morning was the actual rally day with the arena filled with a sea of reliant cars of different models spaning more than 40 years. Please go to photo pages where with kind permission of Malcolm I've copied his to my site. Throughout the day were events to keep you occupied and the Partsworld van turned up from 10 am until 5 pm from which I purchased an exhaust system for Malcolm as his fell apart on the way to the rally. The job of fixing the new exhaust loomed and I was told that if I couldn't play it I couldn't fit it, the challenge was on and the downpipe lifted into the air one end to my lips and lo and behold bugle calls filled the evening air. Again during the evening we had a good time drinking chatting and for some dancing.
